Thanksgiving Casserole RecipesWhile the expression varies from region to region, the turkey stuffing (a.k.a. dressing) is an indispensable dish to any Thanksgiving meal. Traditionally the stuffing is in fact stuffed directly into the bird and cooked within it. However, it is advisable to prepare and bake a stuffing or dressing dish separately from raw turkey to prevent the spread of bacteria and possible food poisoning. Some argue that once it is out of the bird it is no longer “stuffing,” but I will still refer to my recipes as such for simplicities sake. Also, no one can forget the need for a great green bean casserole recipe when preparing a Thanksgiving meal. There are many classics here that you will love to remember.
